The gear pumps are designed for transferring clean viscous liquids. The viscosity measurement is represented with different scales, but for common use we use ISO VG or the Engler degrees or the Centistokes.

If the drop difference is greater, a non-return valve can be positioned at the end of the suction pipe which must then be filled as far as the pump. The pump should in any case be positioned close to the container of the liquid to be transferred. The pump could be damaged if it runs dry for more than 10 seconds. Never operate the pump without the hose connectors. Always connect the filter supplied with the suction pipe before starting the pump. The gear pumps can only be used with the delivery pistol if a safety valve code 920035 is used.
All models can operate in a continuous manner at a pressure of 2 bar (0.2 MPa).
The 230V powered models are e with a commutator to reverse the rotation of the motor, which allows the free selection of the pumping direction. The battery powered models have a predetermined rotation direction that is indicated by an arrow on the pump casing.
Gear choice.
You can request the pumps with stainless steel gear or PTFE.
Stainless Gears: ideally you should be re for the transfer of synthetic oil, with a viscosity between ISO VG 80 and 150; a little noisy, but they have very long service life.
PTFE gears: shall be required for low viscosity oil (between ISO VG 32 and 80), cold decanted max. 30 ° C, also for continuous service but at free discharge (discharge pressure of less than 0.1 BAR)
Note: like all of our electric pumps, even the gear must not run dry or for prolonged periods in the absence of liquid.
